Major Matthew Collins OB
We regret to record the death of Major Matthew Collins (1982-1990), recently killed whilst serving with the 1st Battalion Irish Guards in Afghanistan. Major Collins is the first OB serviceman to be killed in action since the Korean War. He always wanted to join the Army and had served in Kosovo, Sierra Leone and Iraq. We offer our sincere condolences to his family.

Old Bristolians' 99th Annual Dinner
The 99th Annual dinner of the Old Bristolians' Society was held on Charter Day, 19 March, in the Great Hall. Approximately 160 guests attended and enjoyed an excellent meal organised by the Secretary, Phil Tottle.

Old Bristolians' London Dinner
On Friday 15 October, Bristol Grammar School’s annual Old Bristolian’s dinner event took place. OBs, teachers and students came together for the dinner held at the world famous Lord’s Cricket Ground, for an evening of good food and great company.
