County Schools Cricket Champions
17.09.2012 - BGS claim U13 and U14 titles.
 
Congratulations to the Under 13 and Under 14 cricketers who last Tuesday (11 September) became county schools cricket champions.
In the U13 final BGS scored the very impressive total of 155 for the loss of only 1 wicket with Ben Miller scoring a brilliant 92 not out. We then held The Ridings school to 112 for 4 to win by 43 runs. We go on to represent the county next season in the national cup.
In the U14 final BGS bowled and fielded well to restrict KES Bath to 82 for 5. A fine innings of 55 from Ed Moss then saw BGS pass their target for the loss of only 4 wickets.
