19.06.2012 - Good luck Emily
Former Bristol Grammar School student Emily Diamond will be taking part in the Olympic trials this weekend (23-24 June), hoping to claim a place in the Team GB 400m squad for London 2012. Emily has been in excellent form this season: in May she won gold in the 200m at the British Universities and Colleges (BUCS) championship, running in the Olympic Stadium, and last weekend became the UK U23 200m champion, winning at the event in Bedford in a time of 23.60s. Hopefully this will have been a great confidence boost for the Olympic trials. We all wish Emily the very best of luck.
