Trips and Visits
Exploration is at the heart of our learning, an experience enriched by a wide range of educational visits as well as some exciting residential trips.
BGS children are often out and about in and around our city, benefiting from the many cultural and historic resources, forging important links with the community around us. They build their confidence and expand their horizons travelling further afield, perhaps a night away from home with their team playing sport, or with friends and family on our annual family ski trip.
Discovering the outside world and outdoor education is an important part of building confidence and camaraderie, for children of all ages.
In Year 3, children and their parents are invited to share a night under the stars enjoying their first experience of an overnight school camp, and further up the School a two day team building course on the Mendips is agreed by all to be a high point of Year 6.
“I had a brilliant time: I especially loved the assault course, crossing the water on the ropes.”
