The Honours Programme

At Bristol Grammar School we take pride in scholarship. Students with exceptional ability and commitment are recognised and supported through an initiative designed to help them go further. The Honours Programme has been established to respond to the individual needs of students with outstanding abilities. 
 

Students who perform exceptionally well in our entrance assessments may be invited to join the Honours Programme upon entry to the School. Those already within our School who make outstanding progress may also be invited to join the programme, and the door remains open to students throughout their time at BGS.

 

Being invited to join the Honours Programme is recognised as a prestigious achievement and participating in the programme should enhance opportunities for the next stage of a student’s education. An Honours Student is valued and rewarded as an academic leader in our community, part of a culture that celebrates the many different successes of everyone in the School.
