Lunchtimes and after School

What our students choose to do in their free time, after-school and in their lunch breaks, says a great deal about the enthusiasm, energy and appetite for adventure that is so much part of our School.

 

Our staff and pupils together organise a whole range of clubs and societies which reflect the wide interests in the School and bring together young people from across the year-groups.

 

With extensive indoor sports facilities on our main school site, many after-school and lunchtime activities involve indoor exercise and games. Fencing, squash, dance, climbing club and five-a-side football are all equally popular with boys and girls.

 

Before and after School and at lunch time we host eighteen different choirs, orchestras, bands and musical ensembles, something for everyone from youth choir to our Grade VII clarinet group. Students of all ages form the lifeblood of our debating club, invigorate our history societies, cross swords in fencing and mix together for after-school cookery.
