Activities Programme

Every term, our Sixth-form students discover new strengths and interests, pursue new opportunities and enjoy new experiences through an extensive programme of activities, organised as an integral part of the weekly timetable.

Tuesday and Thursday afternoons find students involved in musical theatre or martial arts, perhaps learning about digital photography or working behind the scenes as part of our dedicated Stage Crew. There are opportunities for individual as well as team sport. The School’s programme of literary events is supported by Sixth-form students as part of the Activities Programme. Others are involved in Amnesty International or Model United Nations. Many have made a contribution to the local community, volunteering on projects of their choice outside the School.

Sometimes you just try something for fun and then it’s suddenly a real passion. I have been overwhelmed by the opportunities this term with small groups of people arranging new things all the time. As well as my sport I’m currently trying History Society after school and Medical Society some lunchtimes"
