Our Learning Environment

Joining our Sixth Form you’ll be in an environment that’s steeped in tradition, with inspirational spaces and places including our historic Great Hall.  Mixed in with the old is a great deal of the new, purpose-built buildings, equipped with new technologies and first-class facilities for the teaching of specialist subjects, such as Design Technology, Music, Science, Drama and Modern Languages.

 

In some subjects there are dedicated Sixth-form study areas. In all subjects you’ll benefit from the continued investment that has secured excellent learning facilities throughout the School.

 

The Sixth Form Centre is designed with students in mind. It has places to relax, its own IT and study resources and puts you in easy reach of the people you need, your Year Head, Careers Advisor or Tutor.

 

You’ll have access to some of the best facilities for team and individual sport. Our Rugby, hockey, netball, football and cricket teams practice and compete just twenty minutes away in Failand. You can fence, play badminton or squash, take in a game of lunchtime football, keep-fit, use the gym or tackle the climbing wall, just some of the facilities housed in the indoor sports centre on our School campus.
