Gap Years

For many students, leaving the Sixth Form means it’s the time to take a break. Discovering new cultures, learning new skills, overcoming and succeeding in different or challenging situations, all of these achievements are recognised by employers who understand the value of a Gap Year.

 

Whether you are looking for relevant work experience or an opportunity to give something back in developing communities, the support of our Careers Service will help you get the most from your time between finishing ‘A’ levels and heading off to the work place or University.

 

There’s a wealth of information and experience to help you find a work placement, perhaps through the Year in Industry Scheme, a really valuable opportunity to experience professional working life, and sometimes there’s the possibility of sponsorship.
