Our First Term

This year nearly half the students entering our Sixth Form will join us from other schools.

 

If you’re new to our School, as well as a receiving an induction pack you’ll be invited to get to know all our new joiners at an induction day. You’ll have lunch at our Failand sports facility and some fun getting to grips with the low ropes course. You’ll meet a buddy, someone from your tutor group, who’ll be around to help you settle into the Sixth Form over the first few weeks.

 

You’ll be welcomed into a House, we have six in our School, and will quickly be swept up in the many different sporting, cultural and social House events, all of which are organised by Sixth formers working together and involving students of all ages. You’ll be offered a wide range of activities to try; creative writing, climbing, swimming, there’s something for everyone and you’ll meet people who share your interests.

 

For all our students, this first term is a time of change, new learning environments and new tutor groups. Working together in and out of the classroom, it’s a time when we all make new, long and lasting friendships.
