The Arts

Whatever your standard as a performer, whatever your taste as a spectator, our Sixth Form offers a wide mix of creative and performance opportunities, in a celebration of music, dance, drama and the arts.

There’s plenty happening outside with visits to talks, concerts, theatres and galleries, but even more opportunities inside, both in the Sixth Form Centre and throughout the School.

Our Sixth formers take the lead in both School and House drama, not just on stage, but directing, producing, choreographing or running the Stage Crew. Musically there are opportunities to get involved on every level, from jubilant House Singing and the annual Pop Medley, to participation in any of the 16 different choirs, bands and music ensembles or virtuoso performances in our School Concert, held in St. Georges, on Brandon Hill.

You can help organise our vibrant programme of literary events with leading poets and authors. Every week in the autumn and spring terms you can attend a Sixth Form lecture where editors, historians, writers and photographers are just a small assortment of the many talented people who have shared their ideas and experiences with Sixth formers in our School.

"I am going to study Geography but my passion is music. This year I joined five different musical groups."
