Activities

At BGS, getting involved in something new, exciting or challenging is a compulsory subject.
 
Each Year-group has one afternoon a week dedicated to the Activities Programme. Afternoons could include Mandarin or Martial Arts, cooking or car maintenance, an opportunity to be challenged by something different, to gain a new skill, to discover a new interest or to develop an old one. Some students choose to look outside the School, volunteering in the local community,
 
The opportunity to participate in a rich, vibrant and changing programme of activities as a core part of learning is a unique and exciting dynamic in the Academic Life at our School. It creates new relationships and understanding between students and teachers. Importantly for an organisation that values the academic efforts of its students, it encourages and maintains an important balance in the working week of the School.
