BGS Infants

Our new Infants School opened in January 2010, you can read more about the official opening here .  BGS Infants offers an exciting start in education for girls and boys in Years 1 and 2.  By using all sorts of creative techniques, learning to read, write and count is enjoyable and rewarding.  There is plenty of art, music, singing, dancing and sport with invitations for parents to join assemblies and special occasions.  The Museum and Art Gallery are close for trips out and the children will need wellies for our Nature Walks on the endless green fields at Failand.

In small classes of ten children, everyone gets the individual attention they need and gains the confidence to try new things and help one another.  Motivated children and enthusiastic teachers are a thrilling combination.  Set in the Lodge House and with their own garden to play in, children joining BGS Infants quickly feel at home and will make lasting friendships as they progress through Bristol Grammar School.
