New Deputy Heads appointed

The Headmaster is delighted to announce the appointments of Mr Peter Huckle and Ms Laura Carleton to the posts of Deputy Head of Bristol Grammar School from September 2008.  

Peter Huckle is currently Head of Year 7 and 8 and Director of Scholars at BGS and has been a member of the School’s Geography Department since 1980.

Laura Carleton will join BGS from St Katherine’s School, Pill where she is currently Head of Inclusion and Achievement (Assistant Head Teacher) and a teacher of French and Spanish.

We are also pleased to announce that Mr Justin Harford (currently Head of Biology at BGS) will succeed Mr Nick Hammond as Director of Sixth Form from September 2008.
