Fashionable Make-over for Charity

Thursday 27th March 2008, 9:13am
As part of the Fashion Design activity a group of Year 11 students took on the task of revamping unwanted items of clothing from the local St Peter’s Hospice shop and updated them to fit in with current fashion trends. The clothes were then returned to the shop on Tuesday 18 March to raise money for the charity. The students chose St Peter’s Hospice as it is a Bristol-based charity and has previously been supported by the School. Dowdy, old-fashioned skirts and jackets were chopped, dyed and re-styled into exclusive, fashionable garments at affordable prices. The up-dated collection is now available in the Gloucester Road branch.  Do go along and support this worthwhile project.
