Pre-prep School

Our new Pre-preparatory School will be opening in January 2010, offering an exciting start in education for girls and boys in Years 1 and 2.  By using all sorts of creative techniques, learning to read, write and count will be enjoyable and rewarding.  There'll also be plenty of art, music, singing, dancing and sport with invitations for parents to join assemblies and special occasions.  The Museum and Art Gallery are close for trips out and the children will need wellies for our Nature Walks on the endless green fields at Failand.

In small classes of ten children, everyone will get the individual attention they need and gain confidence to try new things and help one another.  Motivated children and enthusiastic teachers are a thrilling combination.  Set in the Lodge House and with their own garden to play in, we hope these children will quickly feel at home and make lasting friendships as they progress through Bristol Grammar School.
