Welcome to Bristol Grammar Sixth Form

Academic maturity and social confidence will develop hugely over two years in the Sixth Form. You will now have the chance to study in the subjects of your choosing, developing the skills of class discussion and independent study essential for university. You will develop strong relationships with both peers and teachers as you discuss, discover, question and understand areas of your subjects well beyond the confines of GCSE.

Equally important are the opportunities to throw yourself into numerous sports, activities, responsibilities and commitments, building on established interests and taking up new and rewarding pursuits. Indeed, our curriculum plays a central role in shaping the expectations and personal aspirations of all students in the sixth Form.

The Sixth Form is a time for fresh challenges and new friendships, the opportunity to benefit from knowledge and learn the lessons of experience. Pride, determination, integrity, humour and social awareness form the backbone of what we stand for and the personalities we strive to encourage and support.
