Visit us

Prospective pupils and their families are always welcome to visit. Throughout the school year we have many opportunities for you to come and view the School on a normal working day, giving you a feel for what BGS can offer you and your son or daughter.

In the Autumn term there are opportunities for children considering joining the Lower School, Year 7 or Year 9 to come in and experience the School on a 'Taster Session'. Your child will be allocated a buddy to spend the morning with who will accompany him or her throughout lessons and lunch.

These Taster Sessions, Lower School Open Mornings and Upper School or Sixth Form Tours are scheduled regularly throughout the school year on a wide range of dates. More details and booking information can be found via the links to the right of this page. Alternatively, contact the Admissions Office who will be glad to make arrangements for you. 

Open Events
Our Open Day this year is being held on Friday 1 October, 4pm-8pm where there will be a series of presentations by the Headmaster and the Headmistress of the Infant and Junior School, tours of the School and facilities, opportunities to talk with staff,  refreshments served in the Great Hall and a a variety of enjoyable activites.
