Event date: Monday 24 March, doors 5.15pm, talk from 6–7pm
Event location: The Great Hall, Bristol Grammar School

As part of Neurodiversity Celebration week, Bristol Grammar School is hosting a Dyscalculia Awareness event for parents and carers in the Great Hall.

We are delighted that our guest speaker will be Rob Jennings, co-founder of the Dyscalculia Network. The Dyscalculia Network provides training and advice for teachers and parents of pupils who have maths difficulties. Rob has over 15 years of experience teaching young people with special needs.

Over the past ten years, he has focused specifically on helping children struggling with Maths, working in both independent and state schools. He is delighted that his book ‘The Maths and Dyscalculia Assessment’, will be released by Jessica Kingsley Publishers in July of this year. This is the assessment for all of the key foundations of maths to help formulate a focused teaching intervention plan.

We are also very pleased to have the following professionals and organisations available who will be able to share information from 5.15–6pm:

Bristol Autism Society Bristol Autism Support Nessy

Off the Record

British Dyslexia Association
