When the deceptive circus magician Oscar ‘Oz’ Diggs is swept away and finds himself in the land of Oz, he thinks that power and fortune are his for the taking. But little does he know of the lies and deceit that await him. The people of Oz are convinced that Oscar is the great wizard that legend foretold and he is entrusted with the role of vanquishing the wicked witch. After meeting three witches, Oscar quickly becomes blind to their manipulative ways, and is swept along with their vindictive games, leaving Oscar to try and discover who is good and who is evil before it's too late. Meanwhile, the people of Oz are quickly starting to doubt his true power and question his character. Can Oscar become the honourable man they were promised and help end the conflict that has spread across the land? Can he become Oz the Great and Powerful?
