#40Yearsin40Weeks: The 1989-90 academic saw the opening of the Mackay Theatre. The first production was ‘Oliver!’. It was also the final BGS production led by David Trott, who retired after more than 30 years at the school. https://t.co/VmscQmde8h
We aspire to attract staff that match the social and cultural diversity of the Bristol community. We welcome applications from anyone with the relevant skills and abilities, and particularly from those who may not previously have thought of applying to a school such as ours.
We have over 300 staff members working across the School, with approximately 160 teaching staff and 140 support staff. There is a strong sense of community within the staff body, with regular social and sporting events organised. All staff are encouraged to become fully involved in the broad range of co-curricular activities that run across the academic year.
We value our warm, vibrant and dynamic learning community, and see this as important for staff as it is for pupils. We provide opportunities for individuals to develop and flourish and every person will be supported to fulfil their potential at BGS.
