The Sixth Form years at BGS are an exciting time, when the decisions you take begin to shape your future. You’ll gain more independence and also be expected to take more responsibility for your own learning.
Whatever your aims and ambitions, the Sixth Form at Bristol Grammar School can offer you all the support and guidance you need to get there. It’s a warm and friendly community and you’ll quickly feel at home and become a part of the BGS family.
Every year we welcome a large number of new students into our Sixth Form, including many who join us from state schools across Bristol and the surrounding area. We are delighted to be able to offer means-tested help with fees through our bursary scheme – contact the Admissions team to find out more.
BGS is known for helping its students achieve excellent academic results but we offer much more than just qualifications. We are a co-educational school, where you will learn to see your fellow students as peers and collaborators – studying, working and socialising together just as you will need to in the world beyond school. Trips, clubs and activities will give you the chance to develop the life skills you’ll need to thrive after you leave us.
