Monday 21 January, 6pm

Event

Event date: Monday 21 January, 6pm
Event location: Bristol Grammar School

The BGS E-Safety Committee, comprised of pupils from Years 7–Upper Sixth, are pleased to invite parents to learn more about e-safety and how young people can stay safe online. The session will take place on Monday 21 January from 6.00pm–7.30pm, and will be delivered by the Committee on the topics they feel are most relevant, ranging from social media and computer gaming, to the impact of modern technology and connectivity on sleep.

The event will include time for questions, and is supported by Matt Nice (Director of ICT), Fran Ripley (Deputy Head), who is responsible for all aspects of safeguarding across the Senior School, and Joanne Bocko (Cyber Protect Officer for Avon and Somerset Police), who will be able to help with any other related questions. The event is targeted at parents of Years 7 and 8 pupils, but is open to all.

If you would like to attend please register your interest on this form to allow us to gauge numbers.
