This month our STEM Café becomes a STEAM Café (STEM and the Arts), combining art and science to understand who made ancient Mediterranean ostrich egg vessels.
Professor Tamar Hodos will be here to talk about how when we look at ancient luxury objects we tend to focus on the artefacts and forget about the makers. Professor Hodos has combined arts and sciences to draw out the people behind the making of these incredible objects.
BGS Pupils, families and staff all welcome (no booking is required).
This event is also open to pupils and staff of BEP schools. If you would like to attend, please email stem@bgs.bristol.sch.uk to book a place.
All visitors should arrive at main reception and wait there to be shown to the Great Hall.
