Event date: Friday 1 May 2026, 4.00-5.00pm
Event location: Bristol Grammar School

On Friday 1 May, Dharshaan and Ryan, members of the Bristol SEDS and engineering students from UoB will be speaking at our STEM Cafe about everything that goes into the engineering of the Mars Rover.

Covering everything from the big problems like surviving the climate and designing overall code through to the fine details like making sure you have the right wheel shape, the event offers a fascinating insight into the unique challenges of engineering the Mars Rover.

Everyone is welcome to attend including pupils, family members and friends from other schools. Refreshments will be provided. Any questions please email Portia Bourton-Clark on stem@bgs.bristol.sch.uk.

If you are not a current BGS pupil and are coming along, please arrive at our main Reception just before 4pm and you will be collected and shown to the event venue.
