Whether local, such as a walk to the Suspension Bridge, or further afield, like a day of fieldwork in a Somerset river, our trips all offer the thrill of witnessing something discussed in the classroom for themselves and the fun and excitement of a day out with friends. Being plunged into darkness at Big Pit, spending the day as an evacuee at the GWR musuem, or experiencing Roman life at Caerleon – these are all adventures that create memories which will last a lifetime.
Your child will also enjoy visits from a wide range of experts and organisations. We have welcomed authors, rainforest animals, Viking invaders, a guide dog and even police horses to the School. Themed workshops, topic days and guest speakers all bring the wider world into your child’s classroom, enriching their learning and understanding of a topic.
At whatever stage of their education they join us, your child will be welcomed into the BGS family.
Helping your child take the first steps on their learning journey.
In BGS Juniors your child will build upon the foundations of their Infant years.
