Reception

Teaching is through a balance of adult- and child-led activities, with lots of opportunity for learning through play. Classroom learning is supported by a range of trips and visitors.

As well as focussing on the key skills of literacy and numeracy, your child’s learning will also encompass understanding of the world, including beginning to learn a modern language and expressive arts and design. Your child will also participate in PE, Swimming, Dance and Forest School, all of which are taken by subject specialists.
