Failand Sports Ground

Sports Centre 1532 Performing Arts Centre

Bristol Grammar School’s outdoor sports ground, located less than a 15-minute drive from the main school, is home to our state of the art 3G artificial pitch. Opened in 2017, our pitch is both World Rugby Regulation 22 compliant and FIFA Quality certified, making it one of the most impressive surfaces in the country.

Our facilities are currently used by a wide variety of local football and rugby clubs, both for training and for fixtures. We have also hosted other organisations including England RFU, Bristol Bears Rugby Club and Bristol City FC.

Changing facilities are available upon request, which are located in our main sports pavilion.

Whether you are looking for a venue to host weekly training sessions, play fixtures or hold a one-off sports event, we will do all that we can to accommodate you.

Other facilities that we have available for hire at our Failand Sports Ground are:

  • Hockey astro turf pitch
  • Netball courts (seasonal)
  • Outdoor cricket nets (seasonal)
  • Pavilion event space
