Sports Centre

The sports facilities that are available for public hire include:

Sports Hall
The 5-court sized Sports Hall at Bristol Grammar School caters to a wide variety of sports including football, futsal, basketball, netball, badminton and many others. It also holds 4 indoor cricket nets which can either be booked individually or as a full set. As demand for hall space is extremely high, we will add you to our waiting list if we don’t have any availability. 

Squash Courts
Our 4 glass backed squash courts are available to book either as a one-off or as a block of up to 10 sessions. We strongly advise booking courts in advance in order to guarantee the time that you would like. 

Fitness Suite
The Fitness Suite is an open plan environment fitted with a mix of cardio and strength equipment to suit various types of training. We have everything from squat racks, a functional rig and dumbbells to treadmills, watt bikes and rowing machines, making it an ideal facility for both individual and team training. 

Graveney Room (Dance Studio)
Our Dance Studio is equipped with a vinyl sprung dance floor, mirror wall with ballet bar and speaker system.  The perfect facility for dance, drama or martial arts classes. 

McFadyean Gallery Balcony
The McFadyean Gallery Balcony is an open space located next to the Fitness Suite. This makes it an ideal area for, but not limited to, pilates or circuit classes.

SP24 Classroom
Our classroom comes equipped with a screen and HDMI connection, with a capacity to hold 30 people. Being situated within the Sports Centre makes it the ideal venue to hold events such as sports coaching courses.
