Infant and Junior School

Our small class sizes mean that your child will be well known and supported by their form teacher and also by teaching assistants in the Infant Classrooms. At BGS Infants and Juniors everyone understands the class 'Golden Rules' and good behaviour is promoted and rewarded through house points and merit cards. Assemblies often focus on achievements made both in school and out and “star of the week” and “class of the week” are ways of making all our children feel special. 

Our successful ‘buddy system’ helps all new joiners settle quickly into the School and promotes a sense of responsibility in our buddies. The House system in the Junior School provides another layer of community and support, fostering a sense of belonging and team building.
