After an arduous 8-month application process involving personal statement, portfolio review, presentation and interview Ben (currently a L6 student at BGS) has been successful in obtaining a coveted Arkwright Scholarship for DT. This is a highly competitive process with fewer than 400 scholarships awarded nationally. The opportunity is open to all Year 11 pupils undertaking STEM subjects with aspirations to study some form of Engineering at a higher level. Ben will receive funding to support his projects moving forward, mentoring from engineering professionals and access to exclusive events. The DT team are very proud of Ben’s achievement and hope that we can help secure more Arkwright Scholarships in the near future. Will the next one be you?
