First photographs from BGS Observatory

The BGS Astronomy Club is thrilled to have access to its very own observatory, thanks to the support of the Barry Theo Jones Trust. The first observation night in Bristol Grammar School's observatory took place on Friday (23 February) with some great images captured. The amazing photograph above is of the Orion nebula – not at all bad for a first attempt! We look forward to more exciting photos being captured thanks to this great new facility at BGS.
