Exeter School MUN 2019 success

BGS pupils took part in a Model United Nations event at Exeter School on 7 December, winning Best Delegation and a host of individual awards. Some thirteen pupils represented China, North Korea, Kuwait and France, with plaudits going to China as Best Delegation overall and France as best delegation in the General Assembly. Secretary General Jay from the Upper Sixth comments:

"It was very pleasing to go to a new event and do well. Particular congratulations to a number of Year 10 pupils including Rosanna and Franziska for taking part in their first external event. Finn and Jack did especially well for winning Commended Delegate awards on the Environment and Political Committees respectively.’
