Where My Wellies Take Me...with with Michael Morpurgo

The Theatre in Bristol Grammar School’s new 1532 Performing Arts Centre hosted its first public performance last night, featuring one of the UK’s best loved children’s authors, Michael Morpurgo.
Joined by his wife, Clare, Michael read from Where My Wellies Take Me, the book they created together. Inspired by Clare’s own childhood visits to Devon, Where My Wellies Take Me tells the story of eight year old Pippa’s walk in the countryside, interspersed with selected poems and beautiful illustrations. It was created to support Farms for City Children, the charity Clare Morpurgo founded forty years ago.
