On the 20 March, all of Year 7, accompanied by some of our Sixth-form Prefects, went on a great trip to Kelston Roundhill. The aim of the day was to allow them to spend time with their form and Form Tutors, away from BGS and the normal school routines.
After making their way to the top of the hill and enjoying the amazing views, each form took part in a variety of activities. They created art using rocks, sticks, leaves, and ink on paper, played parachute games (many people’s favourite), Frisbee, team games, and a few more. They also joined in with the #trashtag phenomenon, clearing the landscape on a litter pick.
During the day, there was time for everyone to have a one-to-one chat with their Form Tutor, about life in Year 7 and anything else they wanted to talk about. At the end of the day, it was a very tired but happy Year 7 that headed back down the hill to return to BGS.
