Badminton success for BGS girls

Congratulations to Year 6 pupil Prarthana on her excellent performance in the Avon restricted badminton tournament last weekend. Although her age places her in the U11 category, Prarthana competed in the U14 and U16 competitions, winning gold in the U14 singles, doubles and mixed doubles competitions and bronze in the U16 events too.
In the U14 doubles competition, Prarthana was partnered by fellow BGS pupil Lucy, who is in Year 7. Well done to them both on achieving such an impressive result against much older opponents.
