BETWEEN FOUR JUNCTIONS
a new, bi-annual magazine for the creative arts at BGS, inviting submissions from students, staff, and parents within the BGS community
we aim to publish our first issue in January 2019, and we invite everyone in the BGS community to submit poetry, prose fiction, prose non-fiction, playscript, screenplay, or works in the visual arts by
Friday 23 November 2018.
submission guidelines
POETRY
please send up to three poems, each one not exceeding 40 lines
no limericks, no haiku
PROSE FICTION
we welcome stories of up to 3,000 words in a diverse range of styles and genres
PROSE NON-FICTION
we welcome a wide range of non-fiction, including essays, reviews, autobiography and travel writing of up to 2,000 words
SCRIPT WRITING
please send writing of up to 2,000 words for either the stage or the screen, appropriately formatted scenes or episodes may be from longer works, but should be able to stand alone in the magazine
ART
please send details of works to be submitted, including jpeg images of works
please email submissions as a word.doc file to betweenfourjunctions@bgs.bristol.sch.uk
and include the following information:
- your full name, as you would like it to appear in the magazine
- whether you are a student, parent, or member of staff
- the type of work you are submitting: e.g. poetry, prose fiction, etc.
