BGS hits the right note with MHA

Bristol Grammar School’s musicians created a special video concert for care home residents to enjoy this Christmas. The programme of musical performances was made for MHA, the biggest charitable care home provider in the UK, to share with its residents and members over the Christmas period.

Led by Charlie Morris and Jon Rees, the School’s Co-Directors of Music, the festive musical treat was pulled together to help lift spirits following a challenging 2020. Owing to the impact of COVID-19, MHA has seen its ability to engage with members/residents heavily impacted by the pandemic so made the decision to create Digital Communities, a new video based content platform.

Matt Edwards of Digital Communities shared:

“It’s been amazing working with Charlie and the talented pupils at Bristol Grammar School. They’ve created a programme of highly polished musical performances for our residents and members – it’s truly humbling to have them support us like this.

“I can’t wait to work with Charlie and the pupils from Bristol Grammar School again in the near future and thank them for supporting MHA this Christmas.”
