Bristol Megafinal of the UK Chess Challenge

Bristol Grammar School was delighted to host the Bristol Megafinal of the UK Chess Challenge in the Great Hall on Saturday 18 May.
It was a large event attracting nearly 170 children from across the city and included a BGS contingent of around thirty players.
It was a very enjoyable day and we are delighted that eight BGS players achieved qualification for the next round, The Giga-Final, of the UK’s largest and most popular chess competition. Congratulations to:
