Year 7 camp

Our Year 7 pupils had a brilliant time at Barton Camp last week. They took part in a rotation of activities including a hike up Crook’s Peak, fire building and toasting their own marshmallows, chase the flag (an orienteering challenge) and some fun team-building activities. These included the water challenge (get the ping pong ball inside the drainpipe to the top by blocking the holes), and the terrifying sounding Chasm of Doom – where they had to work out how to get across (or pass a toy across) the chasm!

We loved watching them all learn to work together to be successful, getting to know each other and making new friendships on the way. A huge thank you also to our prefect helpers who were on hand to run activities, help serve food and join in with all the games – wink murder anyone?
