Due to COVID restrictions, in place of a whole school Senior School Sports Day, this year BGS pupils are enjoying a day of sport at Failand in their individual year-group bubbles.
The revised format means that, alongside athletics, the day includes House cricket and tennis matches too. Year 7 pupils certainly enjoyed their first Senior School Sports Day last Friday, with Year 8 following them this week, spending Monday at Failand in the glorious sunshine. It was lovely to see everyone getting involved in representing their House, whether in the whole year 1,500m at the start of the day, team sports or an individual athletics event. We hope that Years 9 and 10 are able to enjoy similarly good weather for their events next week.
