We’re excited to share that Bristol Grammar School has been recognised as The Telegraph’s Best School in Bristol for value, an award that highlights both our academic strength and the breadth of our co‑curricular offer.
Reflecting on the award, Jaideep Barot, BGS Head said: “Delivering value, in this climate, has been a real focus for us as a school. The staff, leadership team and governors have worked hard to mitigate the impact of VAT on families while making sure we don’t lose any of the extraordinary opportunities on offer that make BGS so special.
“Against a backdrop of school closures and mergers, and families weighing up the value of a broad, holistic BGS education against local independent and state school offerings, this award recognises the emphasis we place on value for our families.
“Our academic results are something we’re obviously proud of, but what really sets us apart is our belief that for a child to be both successful and fulfilled they need to be known, nurtured, challenged and celebrated.
