BGS Year 7 Scholars enjoyed the challenges of the Failand Low Ropes course on Friday 11 June. Having had a busy and active time at the Year 7 Sports Day, Mr Carr set the Scholars a new set of problems to solve. How do you get from one tree platform to another without touching the ground – and in teams? The course is designed to improve teamwork, communication and listening skills, and our Year 7 Academic and Creative Arts Scholars responded very well.
Mr Carr comments: ‘To begin with the Scholars found teamwork quite difficult, but by the end of the course their ability to plan ahead had improved greatly. They also listened to each other very well.’
