We are saddened to share the news that Steve Marsh passed away peacefully at home on Thursday 15 April.
Steve was a member of staff at BGS from 2006–2017 and many families will remember him from his years teaching in BGS Juniors. Steve was a much loved Form Tutor, a booming voice on the pitches at Failand and, amongst many other things, producer of the Year 6 play.
Since Steve’s cancer diagnosis five years ago, he was instrumental in raising thousands of pounds for the charities that supported him. His latest challenge was to walk the distance (510 miles) between the Maggie’s Centre in Cardiff and Inverness. His daughters will be completing the remaining miles in his honour, if you would like to support them, the fundraising link is below.
