Science is the bees knees for Year 3

In Science this term Year 3 have been learning about pollination and had an exciting trip up to the roof of the Senior School Science Wing where BGS keeps its own bee hives. All kitted out in protective beekeeping outfits, the children were shown the bees in their honeycombs. Mr Schober explained how the bees made wax and honey – a fascinating experience for our mini-beekeepers who were keen to know if they could visit again soon!
