Sixth Form Charity Cook-along

In place of their usual Christmas meal, BGS Sixth Form enjoyed a festive Christmas Curry Cook-along last week, making dinner for their families and raising money for Caring in Bristol's 'Cheers Drive' project.
After some carol singing, accompanied by Mr Iwi on the piano, our Sixth-formers got to work on dinner. Under the expert guidance of Zoom cookery expert Mrs Jones, they prepared Thai curry and rice, with chocolate brownies to follow. In return for having their dinner cooked for them, families were asked to donate to 'Cheers Drive' and we are delighted that the event raised over £1,200 for this very worthy cause.
