As a school for Bristol and the community, BGS is excited to announce a new partnership with Royal West of England Academy (RWA) in support of the RWA's Learning and Engagement Programme.
Support from BGS will help enable the RWA to continue to deliver and build their creative programmes, such as Scribble & Sketch, hyper-local creative sessions as well as family workshops, gallery-based events and activities for children, young people and their families with SEN+D.
Creating opportunities for people across our city to experience and engage with art, last year’s programme saw thousands of individuals, pupils from across 34 Bristol schools and several Early Years groups, among many others, benefit from the offering. In the last year (2025/26) RWA reached over 1,500 children and young people through bespoke creative activities designed to address the gaps in creative opportunities across the city. The new partnership with BGS will enable the RWA to build upon this offer and reach more children across Bristol.

The support of this programme reflects BGS's belief that education extends beyond academic study, with the arts, co-curricular opportunities and cultural experiences playing an important role in pupils' development.
