Bristol Grammar School is thrilled to congratulate current Upper Sixth students Seb and Jake on their recent rugby achievements. Both students were selected for the Southwest U18 Lambs rugby team and played on 19 January at Harrow, Seb at prop and Jake at flanker.

Seb, one of our Sixth Form Bursary Award Holders, and Jake have shown outstanding dedication to the sport, earning well-deserved recognition for their hard work and commitment to the school team this year. Their selection reflects their exceptional skill and passion for rugby.
The Lambs RFC, known for promoting a dynamic and expressive style of play, provides a platform for young players to showcase their talents without the constraints of league results or rigid coaching structures. This ethos allows players to enjoy the game fully and thrill supporters with their creativity on the field.
After their performance in the Southwest team, both Seb and Jake have been named in the U18 Lambs RFC national squad to play against Jamaica U19 next Sunday. This is an incredible opportunity for both students to represent their school and the Lambs on an international stage.
We are immensely proud of Seb and Jake and wish them the best of luck in their upcoming match. Their achievements are a testament to their hard work, talent, and the supportive environment fostered at Bristol Grammar School.
