BGS pupil speaks at German Remembrance Service

Last Sunday BGS Sixth Form student Jasleen Singh spoke at the German Remembrance Service in Berlin. In attendance at the service were dignitaries from around the world, including Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall, the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, the President of the Bundestag and the President of the Volksbund.

Jasleen was invited to meet them all afterwards, and enjoyed speaking to Prince Charles and the Duchess who were both very complimentary about her speech, with Prince Charles saying he thought Jasleen's message was particularly important.

We are incredibly proud of Jasleen, who was an impressive ambassador for both BGS and the UK. If you would like to hear her speech, you can view the ceremony on the Bundestag website. Jasleen speaks from 30:41 to 35:00
