Calling all BGS students, Year 9 to Upper Sixth.
Are you an aspiring actor? Want something to do that is engaging, challenging and entertaining over the Summer Holidays?
BGS is hosting its first Drama Summer Workshop at 1532. It will run from Monday 23–Friday 27 July, 9.00am to 5.00pm with a performance on Saturday 28 July.
You will work as a group to devise and create a play and perform it in the Theatre in 1532 on Saturday 28 July.
It will be directed by Nik Partridge, who this year will be directing the Tobacco Factory’s main Christmas production The Borrowers. He was previously Director in Residence at Tobacco Factory Theatres for 2014-2015 and Staff Director at Theatre Royal Plymouth. He was also made a BBC Performing Arts Fellow in 2014.
It will be a cooperative process relying on input from all participants and a great opportunity to learn from, and work with, industry professionals.
The workshop is open to all BGS students from Year 9 to Upper Sixth with a passion for performance and theatre.
The cost of the six-day course will be £200 for the six days.
